This diesel fuel spilled from a fishing vessel that was deposited on marshland by Hurricane Katrina's storm surges. This photo was taken before the arrival of Hurricane Rita, which flushed out this spilled fuel. Little now remains to do to mitigate the damage from this minor spill.
