THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS BASED ON THE MOST CURRENT DATA PROVIDED TO NOAA. -
Sunday, 24 March SSC report from Saudi Arabia  

Expect to discuss SLAR role in near future with USCG Falcon team to include:
uncontained sources, oil film obs until landed, and smoke plume height
observations for several selected days in the next week as identified by
Washington, D.C. OPS CTR.  

ARAMCO announced at yesterday's meeting that they estimate the volume of oil in
the water at 178,000 bbl.  Their estimate of oiled shoreline is 427 km total. 
From Manifa Bay to Abu Ali, the estimate is 265 miles of impacted shoreline
