THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS BASED ON THE MOST CURRENT DATA PROVIDED TO NOAA. - WEATHER
FOR THE GREENHILL BLOWOUT Monday, 12 October AM OBSERVATIONS: Current observation at the
Grand Isle C-Man station at 0809 was 029 degrees at 9 kts. CURRENT WEATHER Winds are
from the E-NE at 10-15 kts. Seas are 4-6 ft with light chop in protected waters NWS
FORECAST Winds Time Dir(from) Speed(kts) 10/12 Day E-NE 10-15 10/12
Night SE 10 10/13 Day SE calm-10 Today, the winds will be from
the E-NE at 10-15 kts. Seas will be 4-6 ft with light chop near the spill site. Tonight,
the winds will gradually shift to be from the SE at 10 kts. Tuesday, the winds will be
light and variable with a SE component throughout the day. Seas will be light in
protected waters. No precipitation will be associated with this wind shift.
