Posting Date 2007-May-18

This is one of the acoustic recordings being used in the playbacks to the humpback
whales. This sound represents Social Vocalizations, and is about 40 seconds in length.

26 July 96 social.mp3 - Recorded at Cape Bendel, Frederick Sound, southeast Alaska
A recording of a variety of social sounds in real time. In order of appearance: chipping
and groan together, distorted roars, long whine (fainter), roar, whups, and a clearer
narrow band sound that goes high.
