A mystery spill of an estimated 100 gallons of Bunker C fuel oil has been reported in Charleston Harbor, SC. Location is 32deg 45min N, 079deg 53min W. At approximately 1700EST on 20 Oct, 2009, USCG Sector Charleston contacted NOAA-ERD to request oil fate and trajectory information. Source is unknown and under investigation.
